Marisa Riggsbee is a New York based UX/UI designer, with education in studio art and graphic design.

While pursuing my BFA in Studio Art at the University of Texas at Austin, I learned of my fascination with the combination of seeming opposites and centered much of my art about it: masculine and feminine, Western and Eastern, traditional and modern. This captivation would eventually lead me to the world of UX/UI; the combination of the problem-solving that is found in STEM and the romantic understanding that is found in design is what grabbed my attention. Looking to enhance my skill set beyond graphic design, I took a UX/UI bootcamp. Bringing my unique fine art perspective and commercial art experience with me, my journey into UX/UI began.
